Kia ora hello! I am a sound designer, audio engineer, musician and journalist based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington, Aotearoa / New Zealand.

My practice explores the relationship between sound, place and listening, moving between field recording, electronic composition and live performance. I am passionate about sound as an archival tool, and the vast storytelling possibilities it holds.

I am also the co-founder of electronic music initiative Tonic. We host gigs, tours, talks and a radio show on Mouthfull Radio, with the aim to create explorative and immersive spaces for people to collaborate, experiment, and develop their practice.

When working with sound, two questions drive me: how am I using collaboration as its own form of artistic expression, outside of sound itself? And how am I expressing creativity in ways that are both genuine and working for something better?
